We would like to send a gentle reminder that the new lunch visitation schedule will begin tomorrow. As a reminder, when lunchtime ends, students need to return to class with their group so we can avoid lost instructional time and give them a quick restroom break before learning continues.
For health and safety reasons, please only bring food for your own child. We cannot ensure that food brought for others will be safe due to allergies.

What an incredible August we’ve had and what an amazing jumpstart to the school year! Now we’re heading into an exciting September filled with opportunities for our students and families.

• Lunch Visitors Begin – Starting next week!
We’re excited to welcome families back on campus for lunch with their students. Because of the Labor Day holiday, next week’s Monday lunch visits will be moved to Wednesday. After that, we’ll return to our regular attached schedule.
• Open House – Thursday, September 4
We’ll begin in the cafeteria with a PTA meeting and a Title I meeting. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and at 5:50 PM families will head to classrooms to connect with teachers. We’ll wrap up around 6:30 PM, giving everyone plenty of time to get home and enjoy the evening.
• Deaf Awareness Week – September 22–26
As the proud Regional Day School for the Deaf, Faye Webb Elementary is honored to celebrate and recognize our unique and vibrant community during Deaf Awareness Week.
• Saturday Learning Quest – Saturday, September 27

This a wonderful chance for students to start dreaming big and exploring their futures!

As a reminder, our Watch D.O.G.S. kickoff will take place next Tuesday from 6:30–7:30 PM. Please enter through the Stonehenge side of the building.
I also want to provide clarification regarding our lunch visitation schedule. Lunch visits will begin on Tuesday, September 2nd, the day after Labor Day. In a previous communication, it was noted that visitation would begin after the third week of school, which understandably may have caused some confusion. Since the third week ends right at the start of September, our official start date for lunch visits will be September 2nd.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and greatly appreciate your understanding. We look forward to welcoming you on campus the first week of September!

Nhà vệ sinh sẽ có sẵn tại khu vực được chỉ định bên trong tòa nhà, nhưng chúng tôi mong quý vị vui lòng không đi quá khu vực đó để đội ngũ bảo vệ có thể chuẩn bị cho thứ Hai.
