This past Saturday, May 17th, we had 11 orchestra members compete to win a medal in our CCISD orchestra solo and ensemble contest. All 11 members won a gold medal and one ensemble won gold medals! For a grand total of 13 medals!
On violin we had: Kyland Schwein (8), Zahra Sieudhan (6), Daliah Wenger (6),
On VIOLA we had: Benjamin Guardado (6), Tamara Gutierrez (7), Rachael Shavers (8), Jazlene Stiles (7), Noah Villanueva (7)
On Cello we had: Samantha Carrion (8), Stephanie Liu (8), Lexi Rodriguez (6)

KMS Art Enthusiast got a day to enjoy various types of art! Dolphins who participated in our UIL Art Smart got to experience a day San Antonio Museum of Art & Centro De Artes Gallery.




Lucas Valdez, Lucas Rabe, Jonathan Duett, Charles Meldrum, Isabel Infante competed at the state TAME competition at Rice University. Isabel Infante and her team won first place for their protoype..
